Wednesday, March 1 at the Boca Raton Children’s Museum
Don’t miss the upcoming American Fine Wine Competition (AFWC) Wine Carnival & Consumer Challenge! The wine-filled fun event takes place Wednesday, March 1 at Boca Raton Children’s Museum. Take a break at this cool indoor/outdoor event, and have fun testing your “Wine Skills” at wine-themed carnival booths like Ring the Wine Bottle, Wine Pong, Pull a Winning Cork, and Wine Trivia. Also enjoy endless culinary samplings from local eateries including Oceans 234, Terra Fiamma, Seasons 52, Papa’s Seafood Bar, Publix Aprons, BaconBoxes, Potions in Motions, Drunken Raisin, Hoffman’s Chocolates, GourmetPhile, Tess’s Cupcakes, Flair For Fudge, Drunken Raisin, and more. And of course, there will be plenty of fine wines to try, thanks to Crown Wine & Spirits and AFWC — plus surprise tastings from visiting wineries, as well.
You also have a chance to win a seat at the AFWC Consumer Challenge table to test our wine knowledge – and even win tickets to the AFWC Charity Wine Gala on April 29 (a $600 value)! FYI, The American Fine Wine Competition is the largest and most prestigious All-American wine invitational in the country. The Competition involves thousands of wines, months of judging, and a full year of preparation and planning. And it all cumulates at the AFWC Charity Wine Gala, on April 29.
It all goes to benefit a worthy charity, the Boca Raton Children’s Museum. AFWC President and Co-Founder Shari Gherman proudly notes, “This is a fun, exciting and unique evening for all wine lovers to experience the AFWC and help raise funds for this year’s benefiting charity, Boca Raton Children’s Museum. The AFWC always helps support the community, and has raised over half-a-million dollars for charity over the past ten years!”
The AFWC Wine Carnival takes place WED, March 1 from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. at the Boca Raton Children’s Museum, located at 498 Crawford Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33432.
